Piggy-Back, RPM Limit Remover

Posted by

Piggyback in general is a device or tool that is able to manipulate the data from electronic sensors connected to a computer (ECU = Electronic Control Unit) Motor. In the market there are 3 types of piggyback general, namely:

Piggyback can reset mapping (mapping) fuel injection (injection / fuel control). Like the Juice Box, Power Commander, Apexi NEO Fuel Controller, etc. Piggyback like this is often referred to as Programmable Fuel Controller.
Piggyback can reset mapping (mapping) ignition time (ignition control). As MSD Ignition Timing Control, etc.. Piggyback like this is often referred to as the Programmable Ignition Timing Controller.
Piggyback can reset mapping (mapping) ignition time (ignition control) and at the same time fuel injection (injection / fuel control). As Dastek Unichip, Haltech Interceptor, etc..

What is a stand alone engine management system?
Stand alone engine management systems often also named as programmable ECU, where its function is to replace the motor ECU or computer that can be programmed according to the condition of the engine and the will of its tuner.
Many things can be programmed by a stand alone this, such as: ignition timing (ignition timing), injection timing (fuel injection time), RPM limit setting, ignition timing radiator fan, intercooler water spray controller, NOS controllers, etc.. Brands that are circulating in the public market, among others, is Haltech Platinum, MOTEC M800, etc..
What was SPEEDSPARKS Unlimited Piggyback ECU?
Unlimited Speedsparks Piggyback ECU is a piggyback that has the ability not only as a programmable fuel controller and programmable ignition controller but also able to cope (reset - removes) limit the RPM limit as a stand alone ECU. So Speedsparks Unlimited piggyback piggyback not as usual but also has a function as a stand alone ECU.
Unlimited Speedsparks Piggyback ECU injection and ignition retrieve data from computer standard with the motor, then change (remap) in accordance with certain conditions. At 10,000 RPM or more, Unlimited Piggyback work as a stand alone ECU, using recent data 8000-10000 RPM at full throttle.
Unlimited RPM: Raise or eliminate restrictions RPM (RPM limit) that exist on the ecu / computer standard motors. The only and first time in the world, piggyback with this ability.
Full Programmable Injection: Able to perform re-mapping (mapping) fuel injection with computer software.
Full Programmable Ignition: Able to perform re-mapping (mapping) ignition timing with computer software.
Hi Performance Ignition: TCI (Transistorized Ignition Control) which has a large energy output so it can be paired with any particular aftermarket coil TCI (non CDI). You can freely experiment with a variety of aftermarket TCI coil on the market without fear of making computer original motor is broken or burned.
Anti-Theft Function: With the model switch On - Off - On, can serve as a secret anti theft switch.
Technical Specifications: Data remap up to 14000 RPM.

Unlimited piggyback ECU working range is up to 18000 RPM.
Ignition remap -10o s / d of 40o, as indicated by the numbers 0-50, the number 10 means is remap 0o (0 degrees), and the number 0 is the mean remap -10o (minus 10 degrees).
     Injection remap the range 50% - 150%
     Learn Self range of 84% - 116%

Installation Instructions:
Connect the cables as the wiring diagram below:

Selector switch (selector switch) is used to select the motor using a standard ECU or piggyback or can function as an anti-theft switch secret. For initial testing, the switch to the default position.
1 Then Install Speedsparks to computer software.
2 For a serial to USB adapter users:

Select the Settings menu continues Properties. Select the COM Port 1-9,
To know which port is used can be tried one by one, or a check
with hyperterminal or go to Device Manager and select the Port menu.

3 position selector switch to the standard, contact the motor.
4 In Speedsparks software menu select Connect to ECU
5. Then select Monitor
Check priorities: RPM and Throttle
Contact condition ON but engine off: Play throttle, see monitors throttle, OK?
If good (OK) start the motor, see the monitor rpm, OK?
If good (OK) continue the following steps.
Contact on, do not start
Select the Monitor menu
Check priorities: the original advance and relatively advanced
Start the motor, play rpm, see the monitor, OK?
Select the Monitor menu
Check priorities: original injection time (ms = milli second), and remapped injection time (ms = milli second) start the motor, see the monitor, OK?
Check calibration and remap the injection and ignition, enter the desired value.
contact OFF
Select switch to piggyback position.
Check the cable connections.
contact ON
Start the engine, see the monitor, play gas to about 4000 RPM, whether in accordance with the monitor?
If it is appropriate, meaning unlimited piggyback ECU already fully functional.
Programming Manuals (Programming mode)
Install the software to your computer Speedsparks
Choose Motorcycle
Main menu: Monitor, Calibration, Injection Remap, Remap Ignition
monitor:
RPM: shows the engine speed
Load: shows readings throtle Position Sensor
Inject: numbers 0-200 shows the injection remap between 0-200%
Inject Time: original ECU inject time in milli-second (ms)
Compen: enrich compen percent (%)
Inject remap: remapped piggyback inject time in milli-second (ms).
Ignition Remap (Full Programmable Ignition) Relative Advance:
(ignition angle changes) remapped degrees advance in numbers:
0 = -10 o, 10 = 0o, 10o = 20, 30 = 20 °, and 40 = 30o.
Original Advance:
original ECU ignition angle to TOP of teeth (Crank Position Sensor).
Injection Remap (Full Programmable Injection):
To adjust the fuel injectors, remap the numbers 0-200 shows the injection remap between 0-200%.
There is a 60 point consists of 4 x 15 position.
RPM in figure 0-14 which shows the RPM 0-14000
Load the number 0-3 which shows:
0: low load
1: load half
2: full load
3: load boost
Calibration (Calibration):
LoadLow (sensor calibration): regarded as 0 = low load on the injection map.
LoadHalf (sensor calibration): considered as load 1 = half the injection map.
LoadFull (sensor calibration): counts as 2 = full load on the injection map.
LoadBoost (sensor calibration): regarded as the load 3 = boost the injection map.
Enrich Percent: the percentage increase of gasoline at the pump when the throttle or full throttle.
Variable reserved for next improvement
