Code Lubricants

Functions of lubrication:
Reduce friction between moving engine parts
Cooling and heat transfer out of the machine
Controlling contaiminants or dirt to ensure the engine runs smoothly.
SAE (Society of Automotive Engineers):
Setting the standard viscosity / viscosity (the size of a thick layer of oil and the oil is able to flow) at a temperature of 1000 C and -180C. SAE type commonly used in tropical countries is 10W-30 and 20W-50
The number in front indicates the level of viscosity / viscosity when the temperature is cold (before the vehicle is turned on)
W indicates the type of oil can be used in areas with winter
- The number on the back shows the level of viscosity when the temperature is hot (while the vehicle is in operation)

API (American Petroleum Institute) Service:
Removing Oil Service Classification grading standards for gasoline engines. Standard grading is based on the oxidation protection, wear protection, high temperature engine deposits, foaming, acid formation, the formation of scale, corrosion protection which led to fuel efficient and low emissions.
SA ~ SF: This oil is not produced anymore, because adjusting the technology available today.
SG, SJ, SL, SM: For engine output after 1994.
JASO:
Removing the oil grading standards are based on the phosphorus content of the oil (this standard created specifically to meet the demands in Motorcycle is therein contained Clutch / clutch)
- JASO MA (Higher Friction)
Special oil that is used on a machine that does not have a Friction Modifier
(wet clutch, as motorcycles and sport cub existing)
- JASO MB (Low Friction)
Special oil that is used on a machine that has a Friction Modifier
(dry clutch, like a motorcycle matic)
