Adjusting the Clutch

Posted by

1 Automatic Clutch
Bolt clutch setting is usually in the clutch right. Just prepare the lock nut wrench for bolts and flat-head screwdriver to bolt setter. The first step, loosen the lock nut wrench use. Once loosened, just turn the adjusting bolt.

Rotate the anti-clockwise direction, until it stuck. Then, slowly rotate in a clockwise direction. General standard when determining the adjusting bolt round in the manual between the fourth and eighth rounds. Means played in rotation of 22.5 degrees to 11.25 degrees. This benchmark is applied to determine the distance of the main pressure to the pressure plate stut.
What is important is the clearance between stut and pressure plate, if its clearance width to be rather slow response. The more narrow the gap between stut punch pressure plate, the response will be faster. Feel the moment will run the motor, switch gears to step on, and then released. Once the desired setting according to, stay tighten. Hold the adjusting screw to use screwdrivers min and tighten the nut fastener bolts.
2 Clutch Manual

Manual clutch should always be controlled every 1,500 miles to keep the usage condition of the circuit components, especially the pads and clutch cables, whether they work ideal (open-close movements canvass and freely moving plate). Checking distance clutch play helpful to extend service life (life time) lining and clutch cable.
Distance rule clutch play that refers to the standard manufacturer's manual is between 2-4 mm (measured from estrangement handle). Use a ruler to measure it. Set it up, loosen the lock nut, turn the adjusting screw, turn clockwise in order to play more narrow range.
If it is moved in the opposite direction, the distance is widening play. Continue to proceed to the bottom of the clutch cable. Loosen the locking bolt using a wrench. Then, turn the adjusting nut. Of rotation must fit round at the clutch lever above. Please tighten the adjusting nut while holding the locknut motion. Do not forget, before setting the first lubricate the clutch cable with oil so as not to drag.
a. Clutch less free if:
Round stationary engine is too high
Engine not idling
Canvass and its sticky plate
Position the clutch does not fit
b. Signs of damage to the clutch:
The sound is noisy on the right side
Electric motors reduced
Handle the clutch feels heavy
c. The cause of the kick starter ngelos:
clutch lining is thin
Ball-bearing ball automatically, within the centrifugal clutch is worn out
Nail retaining the broken clutch
d. Engine life, but the motor can not run because of:
The first clutch or broken primary clutch
Setting the one on the clutch gear shifting (second clutch)
Gear transmission jammed
Countershaft and damaged driveshaft
Gear front or front sprocket wear
Nails broken transmission
