Checking Electric CDI

Posted by

CDI certainly damaged the motor will not turn on. CDI engine is like our heart, if it breaks bad! The original cost hundreds of thousands of dollars, even millions. If imitation is difficult to use the same convenient way rather complicated set his suit, must be modified first. Damage to the CDI can not be seen with the naked eye, should be measured Avometer use.
How:
1 Set avometer sinus 200 Volt.
2 Red wire avometer cable connected to leading CDI coil.
3 avometer black cable connected to the mass / body.
4 Turn on the motor / starter motor with the kick starter, then look at whether there is a current avometer / stun coming out or not?
5. If no then the CDI is broken, the current record / stun from the bobbin and pulser there flowing to the CDI. So check first before the flow, do the same as above, except that the red wire is connected to a cable bobbin avometer leading CDI.
6 If not no avometer, just try the cable from the CDI to the coil on plug to the motor iron body, keeps the starter. If there sparks mean CDI still be using that, if there's no spark means CDI damaged, with the current record / stun from the bobbin and pulser there flowing to the CDI.
