If the starter motor crashed, ordinary people accuse the damage caused by charcoal in the starter motor. Though is not just that. Components supporting the starter motor work also needs to be tracked. As the electric starter button, socket cable or Bendik starter who has the task of stabilizing electric current.

If from Bendik starter, usually a coil of wire getting weak. So its not optimal. Can not deliver the electric current required by the starter motor.
Now, if both devices were fine, last check components in the starter dynamo. When the starter motor would not actively try to check the 2nd charcoal rub in the dynamo shaft. It could be dirty or completely discharged so difficult to deliver electrical current. If not promptly replaced, the armature shaft can get friction. And if you get the shaft replaced, certainly much more expensive fare instead of replace charcoal
