Consider the example in the picture above. Bearing / bearing from SKF is a product with the code 6301 RSI / C3 MT47.

     6 = Type Ball Bearings
     3 = Indicates Dimensions (Diameter, Thickness, Height)
     01 = Size Circumference in Bearings
     00 has an inside diameter of 10 mm
     01 (12mm)
     02 (15mm)
     03 (17mm)
     04 (20mm)
     05 (25mm)
     RS = Rubber seal (rubber cover)
     C3 = (estrangement between the ball bering and Bearing bering). Clearance Unit is estrangement or microns. 1 micron is equal to 1/1000 mm.
     MT = Medium Temperature
