Oil pump

Posted by

The oil pump is a machine component that serves to suck oil and oil pressing machine gets moving parts, no oil pump is driven directly by the crankshaft and there is also driven by the axis nok (camshaft). To filter out the oil from the dirt that did not participate in the inlet circulate the oil pump mounted oil filter.
The following kinds of oil pump:
1 gear pump models
The oil pump is a gear pump models consisting of two rotating gears for oil pump gears are two existing drive gear (driven gear) and there is gear driven (driven gear). There are two types of oil pump gear models, namely:
a. Internal Gear Type
Driven gear (driven gear) is driven by a gear drive directly connected to the camshaft, the volume space formed by two gear changing while spinning. This type has a simple construction and the ability to be reliable.
b. Type of external gear
Just as there is an internal model of the drive gear and driven gear for the oil pump as shown in the picture beside. Oil flow also looks like the picture. This type has long been used for its construction is simpler and more accurate.
2 Pump Model Trochoid
At the pump Trochoid models equipped with 2 rotor (drive & driven), when the rotor drive rotor rotates as the image-driven rotating participate equally in the pump body.

Rotor drive shaft rotates one point (offset) with a rotor which is driven by the room because it is formed of two rotor while spinning. When the oil sucked into a bigger room and will be pumped out when the room smaller.
Trochoid pump models have a simpler form of the model of gears, and the volume of oil being pumped bigger as well so that the form of the oil pump can be minimized and more reliable.
