Ported & Polish

Posted by

Ported & Polish is a modification carriageway fuel gas and exhaust gas in the cylinder head, which if taken into account carefully can increase the force with significant changes so than as a supporter of bore-up and change valves, ported & polish can also be practiced in the standard spec motors , of course, with the count adjusted, but still using a similar formula.

Porting is the process of modification of fuel gas lines and exhaust covers changes in size, shape, and angle of the gas lines, while the polish can be defined as the process of cleaning the walls of the gas lines. Both fight critical to determine traffic optimization carburetor and fuel gas from the exhaust gas to the exhaust. The ideal port size is described in the following simple formula:
Inlet Port = 0.75 to 0.8 * inlet valve
Exhaust port = 0.8 to 1.0 * exhaust ports
Changes in port, in addition to supporting the smooth flow of fuel gas also creates a swirl gas flow and fuel that enters the combustion chamber, depending on the shape and direction of the intake port of the carburetor.
