Set Way Valve Motor (HONDA)

Posted by

There are times when your own tries adjusting the valves on your bike, but keep in mind, that the valve is right or wrong will affect the engine performance Motorcycles.
Here I write briefly how the proper way to set valves on Honda Motorcycles.
1 Prepare tools, among others;

     Screwdriver (-) large
     Key T 17 (for motor Supra X 125 / charisma)
     Key T 14 (for Supra Fit motorcycle, Tiger)
     Ring 8-9 (for the motor type of duck)
     Ring 10-11 (for the motor type Sport)
     Ring 17 (for the motor type Sport)
     Ring 24 (for the motor type of duck)
     Fuller gauge 1set
     Wrech Adjusting Valve (valve lock)

2 Open both valves closed (In and Ex) using the key ring 17 (type of duck) or Key Ring 24 (Type Sport)
3 Initially position the valve is free to condition or position of the piston at Top Dead Point (TMA), by means of open magnetic closure on the left engine block using a screwdriver (-) large (2 pieces), use 14/17 Ring keys to rotate the shaft crank counter clockwise.
4 While rotating crankshaft, valve-in notice at the time of moving, look at the small hole in the block magnets, T mark position on a straight line in a small hole block magnets.
5. Then hold and wiggle the valve to make sure both are in free position.
6 If the above steps are correct, then do the valve adjustment for the size of each of the motor as follows;

     Type of Sport (Tiger, Mega Pro, GL Pro, Phantom) size = 0,10mm (± 0.01 mm).
     Type Duck (Supra Fit, Grand, Legend, Supra X, Win, GL 100) valve gap size = 0,05mm (± 0.01 mm).
     Type Duck (Supra X 125, Kharisma, Kirana) valve gap size = 0,03mm (± 0.01 mm)
     Type Matik (Vario) gap size valve (valve-in: 0,15mm (± 0.01 mm) Valve Ex: 0,26mm (± 0.01 mm)

Tuning is the way, loosen the tappet adjuster nut fastener (bolt valve suits) by using the Ring 8-9 / 10-11
7 Then put Fuller in the size of the gap gauge into the valve stem end of the valve, turn the adjuster tappet (valve suits bolts) to feel fuller gauge when in drag feels sluggish and when pushed can not.
8 Then harden again suits the valve nut and re-check the valve suits earlier results, until the result is right, (if fuller gauge was pulled drag and thrust can not)
9 Close the all of the components that had been opened and then feel the results.
